Other clubs and select teams played for: Princeton University, Colorado State University, Denver Barbarians  

Memorable Games: We won the Big Ten Championship at the tournament held at Michigan State University. I also remember playing in the Cherry Blossom Festival Rugby Tournament held in Traverse City, MI one summer. One of the things that was memorable to me about that tournament was that I got to play again with Terry Larrimer. Terry Larrimer was a senior and captain of the Princeton Rugby Team in the spring of 1969 and he introduced me as a freshman to the sport of rugby. (I might add that under his leadership Princeton won the Ivy League Rugby Championship that spring.) After graduating from Princeton, I believe that Terry ended up as a graduate student at the U of M where he continued with his rugby career. At the time of the Cherry Blossom Festival Tournament he was living in Ohio and playing for a rugby team there. He joined the Michigan Rugby Team for that tournament in Traverse City. {He might also have been one of the Michigan Ruggers at the tournament who slept (passed out) on the beach of Lake Michigan after consuming vast quantities of alcohol!}

Current Location: Windsor, Colorado (I also spend a few months per year back in the Adrian, MI area)

Occupation: Semi-retired and currently Chairman of the Board with Adrian Steel Company in Adrian, MI (Also coach middle school football and wrestling at Boltz Middle School in Ft. Collins, CO)

family: Spouse - Theresa (Teke), Son - Scott (He played rugby at Colorado State University), Daughter-in-Law - Kelli, Grandson- Kyler (3 years old) and Granddaughter - Sydney (1 year old)

comment: When I am back in Michigan I'd like to connect with some of those old rugby characters that I played with. Remember the old saying, "the older we get, the better we were."
